Reborn International was founded by automotive entrepreneur, Jim Sherlock. With over three decades of automotive industry success, Mr. Sherlock has utilized his network to develop a group of companies dedicated to empowering the impoverished by implementing new products and services to create jobs in the United States, as well as around the world.
Reborn Outreach is a world-wide non-profit which supports various projects including orphanages, schools, maternity clinics, hospitals and micro financing in financially devastated Third World Countries.
In 1980, Mr. Sherlock founded Aegis Ryan Group, which became the largest auto insurance brokerage in the United States in partnership with General Motors Insurance Company. In 1982 Jim named and created a product for the auto industry called "GAP", which is still sold throughout the banking and auto industry today.
In 1998, Mr. Sherlock became a partner in 1-800-BARNONE, the most successful sub-prime lead generator in the automotive industry. In 2000, Jim co-founded One-Command; In 2008, INC. Magazine named One Command one of the 500 fastest growing companies in the United States, and JD Power and Associates rated One Command as #1 in voice broadcasting.
In 2005, Jim Sherlock founded Galactic Technologies, which includes the product EnivroSeal—a nano particle treatment that protects the exterior surface of a vehicle and creates an aerodynamic finish. In 2010, EnivroSeal was applied to a Ford GT, breaking the world record for the fastest street car at a standing mile at 267 miles per hour!
Mr. Sherlock has been awarded: 2011 Proclamation from Mayor Booker, City of Newark for humanitarian work Torch Bearer Award from the World Harmony Run: Presented by the United Nations. Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition from Congressman Donald M Payne. Three-time Speaker at United Nations Info poverty World Conference. On May 13, 2017, Jim Sherlock, Founder of Reborn International Outreach, along with legendary Astronaut Buzz Aldrin, received the 2017 Ellis Island Medal of Honor, one of the most prestigious awards given in the United States.
The Ellis Island Medal of Honor is awarded to individuals who have made it their mission to share their wealth of knowledge, indomitable courage, boundless compassion, unique talents and selfless generosity with those less fortunate; all while maintaining the traditions of their ethnic heritage as they uphold the ideals and spirit of America.
